Played in 17 events in three years, including eight in his sophomore year (2006-07). Posted 63 in two rounds in spring of 2007, in the third round of Ping/Arizona Intercollegiate and in second round of Hilo Intercollegiate, and also posted a 69 in NCAA Preview in fall of 2006. A 2003 graduate of the Winter Sports Academy in Park City, Utah, as he spent two seasons (2003-2005) working on his golf game and competing in downhill skiing. Made the cut in four out of seven Gateway Tour events in 2004-05. Also one of the nation’s top downhill ski racers until he retired the skis as he was ranked in the top five in the nation. Was the Plantation Tour Player of the Year. Saw action in four tournaments in his initial collegiate season and in eight tournaments last year, including the 2007 Pac-10 championships, and played in five tournaments in 2007-08.
